Love Among the Waves: Duncan & Shelly’s Burnt Island Elopement 

There’s a unique kind of magic in small, intimate weddings. Duncan and Shelly’s special day on Burnt Island, tucked away in the middle of Wrangell Narrows, felt like a page from a storybook. Beginning of September brought moody clouds that hung low over the island, adding a soft drama to the day. With family, friends, and nature surrounding them, it was a celebration as intimate as it was breathtaking.

 A Private First Look  

Before the festivities began, Duncan and Shelly chose to have a quiet first look—just the two of them. The moment was raw and unfiltered as they stood amongst the island’s rugged beauty. Duncan’s expression said it all when he turned to see Shelly, radiant in her gown.

It was a pause in time, just for them, and you could feel their love in the stillness.
